A Taste of Note: & The Spring Equinox
Start the evening at note: comfort food + drink, a cozy eatery inside the historic Hargrave-Sissons Block. Owners Miranda and Bryton want guests to feel at home and feature local artists, local ingredients, and a comfortable space to spend time in downtown Medicine Hat.

Guests will enjoy a three-course meal paired with a feature mocktail.
After dinner, be introduced to the stars and the Spring Equinox with Rod DeVries, an amateur astronomer based in Southern Alberta.
This day marks the official end of winter and the beginning of spring! At the Spring Equinox, the earth experiences equal day and night with the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. The earth takes us on an annual journey around the sun that is about a 940 million kilometer trip with the equinox being one of our destination stops.
Amateur astronomer Rod DeVries will share his knowledge throughout the night about the Equinox and the treasures found in the March night sky.

We acknowledge that what we call Alberta is the traditional and ancestral territory of many peoples, presently subject to Treaties 6, 7, and 8. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit who have lived in and cared for these lands for generations. We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.
