At Crowsnest Community Market, we are dedicated to supporting our local small businesses and showcasing local artisans. Since our inception in 2015, the farmers market has expanded each year. We host both indoor and outdoor markets and have partnered with The Municipality of Crowsnest Pass, Sinister 7, and The Crowsnest Chamber of Commerce to bring you exciting community events outside of our regular season. We also welcome vendor applications to encourage more local vendors to join our vibrant market.

We will be featuring hand-selected wines from Cypress Hills Winery along with recommended pairings from the d'Carlo Pasta House menu. Whether you're enjoying a rich pasta dish, a fresh Caesar salad, or one of our signature flatbreads, we'll help you discover the perfect wine to complement every bite. Wine & Dine Experience

Stroll to the four independent eateries in Medicine Hat's historic downtown, with a local guide who will share stories and converse with the group along the way.Hometown Culinary, note: comfort food + drink, The Yard Patio &amp; Eatery, and Travois Ale Works are coming together to host their Downtown Walking Food Tour!&nbsp;Each stop will present a course, including&nbsp;amuse bouche with a paired cocktail, an appetizer, a main dinner, and a dessert. There are four dates in the summer, and each date a new restaurant will serve a different course to keep every experience unique, and it allows for guests to attend more than one dinner and be greeted with a new dish throughout the evening.Any additional beverages or food items not itemized above will be at the participants' cost. The stroll is approximately 3.5-4 kilometres.Meet the Tour Guide at the Downtown Transit Terminal at 6:00p.m. Please arrive early, as the tour will begin at 6:00p.m. sharp.

Join us for samples, supper and then an evening of Mavericks Baseball in a Ground Level Box seat!Beer and Baseball, not much better on a sunny summer night!The tour begins at 4pm at Athletic Park where ticket holders will be picked up by the Sunshine Trolley. Guests are welcome to leave their vehicle at Athletic Park for the duration of the event. The average baseball game is about 2.5 hours.Disclaimer: If the game is cancelled before it starts due to poor weather, guests will receive a ticket for the equal experience at the rescheduled game.&nbsp;The experience at Travois Ale Works and The Buckle&nbsp;will go ahead regardless of weather.

Sunshine Blooms & Brunch

Visit three local ice cream shops on the Sunshine Trolley during this two hour tour. Sample a variety of ice cream flavours and styles, some made from scratch and in-house, with a treat to take home to finish the experience (all included).Peek behind the scenes at some stops, and have a chance to ask questions when you meet the passionate people behind the local businesses.The tour starts at 2 p.m. at the Visitor Information Centre. Please dress for the weather and consider bringing cold water with you for the rides between stops.

Sunshine Ice Cream Crawl

Spend a morning on the Sunshine Trolley and tour to 4 locally owned cafes in Medicine Hat! Starting at Zucchini Blossom Café &amp; Market, this 20+ year old cafe is owned by Kristine and is snug in the riverside neighbourhood. Guests will have the choice to choose between a housemade latte or freshly squeezed lemonade, and then a taste of the feature dish for the tour. Next is Cafe Verve, owned by Eugene and BJ. They rotate artists throughout the year and have the creative work hanging on the walls in the dining area. They also have a jug of their house-featured beverage ready, for guests to sip as soon as they arrive, and sliced desserts made fresh that morning. On route to MT Nest Café &amp; Market, owned by Michelle and Tony. This bright brunch and bakery located on the Southwest Hill welcomes everyone to enjoy the magic of being human. Always something new every tour, Michelle carefully crafts a delicious beverage and chooses a signature dessert for guests to sip and enjoy. The final stop is at Homestead Market, which is located in a building that used to be a car dealership. It is now a rustic, cozy market featuring over 60 Alberta vendors, from culinary and creative worlds. Cream cheese is made from scratch in-house, and the bagels are baked fresh every morning.Stroll to Kookie Bites to try the soft and chewy community-loved cookies, and then build-your-own Kroffle, with choices of toppings, syrup, and a drizzle of whipped cream.The third stop is at Country Crumbs Bakery &amp; Café, where the group will sample Country Crumbs' “cronut”, a mix between a croissant and donut. To accommodate these requests, we're moving the Farmers' Market to the sidewalk between the ball diamonds and the Confederation Park playground (by the crosswalk on 48th Avenue). This way the public has more parking at the Community Centre, there's more accessibility for people with mobility concerns (we will have designated accessibility parking stalls with signage and a crosswalk directly accessing the sidewalk), and vendors have easier access to their trailers/trucks to stock their items. The traffic along 50th Avenue will also be less congested, making it safer for pedestrians.&nbsp;

Organized by the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.taber.ca/?splash=http%3a%2f%2fwww.destinationtaber.com%2f&amp;____isexternal=true">Taber and District Chamber of Commerce</a>, Cornfest is the largest free family festival in western Canada, held on the last full weekend in August before the long weekend. This event brings visitors from near and far!There's something for everyone at this event, from the midway, music, fun run, chili cook-off, show and shine, corn eating, fireworks, and so much more!The sweetness and flavour of Taber corn is due to the large number of days of bright sunshine we receive in the Taber area.<h3 style="text-align: left">Cornfest Is the Place to Be</h3>Just off Highway #3, the main action for Cornfest happens in Confederation Park at 50th Avenue and 50th Street. But don't forget to head to downtown Taber to spend some time at our local businesses and see how everyone gets into the spirit of Cornfest!
